    discoverOUR INCEPTION

    About to celebrate fifty years old, our history dates back to December 1968. Dario Duro, from Galician and family of restaurateurs, opened the doors of Casa Dario with his wife Manuela Arias “Manolita”. Thus we were born, as an economic tavern serving Galician tapas and meals for students and workers based in Barcelona city centre.

    We start the day with the collection of the best raw materials coming from Galicia, exclusive products which added to good cooking and a personal service make us grow year after year winning the trust of customers to become one of the greatest seafood restaurants in the city.

    Since our beginnings we turn to our culture and cuisine and we are recognized with many awards that you can see in our showcases. But if we are proud of something is of our customers, everyday we’re fortunate to have athletes, politicians, artists and businessman who have not only enjoyed the best cuisine but also unforgettable after-dinner conversations between cigars and good liqueurs.

    The effort, know-how and commitment typical from Galician culture have made it possible that we could keep intact the essence of the restaurant and now we can continue sharing our best treasure.
